Faculties of Studies recognize academic achievements of Class 2015.

The UP Open University Faculties of Studies held their recognition programs for their graduates on 24 July 2015 at the UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna.

Dr. Patricia Arinto, Dean of the Faculty of Education (FEd), welcomed the FEd graduating class of 2015 to their recognition rites held at the UPOU Oblation Hall. Five of the students graduated with honors, led by Maria Rowena D.R. Raymundo (Master of Distance Education), who made it to the Chancellor's List with an graded weighted average (GWA) of 1.10. She is also this year's top UPOU graduate. Students on the Dean's List were Doris R. Lana (Diploma in Language and Literacy Education), Cecilia C. Panadero (Graduate Certificate in Distance Education), Genevieve S. Aguinaldo (Diploma in Language and Literacy Education), and Renzdy A. Mejilla (Diploma in Science Teaching). In 2015, 49 graduated from the Associate in Arts program, 5 from the Diploma in Mathematics Teaching, 7 from the Diploma in Science Teaching, 4 from the Diploma in Social Studies Education, 30 from the Diploma in Language and Literacy Education, 6 from the Graduate Certificate in Distance Education, 10 from the Master of Distance Education, 5 from the Master of Arts in Education (Language and Literacy Education), 1 from the Master of Arts in Language and Literacy Education, 1 from the Master of Social Studies Education and 4 from the Doctor of Philosophy in Education. One hundred twenty-two students graduated from the Faculty of Education this year.

The Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS), which dubbed its recognition program as "Pagpupugay sa Magsisipagtapos," was held at the UPOU Audio-Visual Room. Dean Melinda Bandalaria welcomed the graduates and the alumni who took the time to join the celebration. The FICS graduating class totaled 126 students – 5 from the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies (BAMS), 14 from the Diploma in Computer Science (DCS), 67 from the Master of Development Communication (MDC), 38 from the Master of Information Systems (MIS), and 2 from the Doctor of Communication (DCom). This year's top FICS graduate was Mae Isabelle T. Turiana (MIS) with a GWA of 1.146, making it to the Chancellor's List. She was given the Excellence in Information and Communication Studies Award and the Excellence in Information Systems Award. Other students were also given the following awards: Ryan B. Domingo (MDC) with Excellence in Communication, Ma. Criselda M. Estillore (DCS) with Excellence in Computer Science, and Honorio Q. Lua, Jr. (BAMS) with Excellence in Multimedia Studies. Other FICS students who made it to the Dean's List were Elizabeth S. Garcia (MDC), Marianna Alfa F. Pascua (MDC), Leonard M. Calma (MDC), Marilou B. Villa (MDC), Teresa S. Congjuico (MDC), Zyra Mae O. Bambico (MIS) and Maria Aiza A. Blanco (MIS).

The Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) recognized 130 graduates from 9 programs during their Recognition and Fellowship Program held at the CCDL Auditorium. Dean Inocencio Buot welcomed the graduates while Dr. Felix Librero, UPOU Professor Emeritus, delivered the message to the graduating class. Of the 130, 4 are graduates of the Graduate Certificate in ASEAN Studies (GCAS), 10 of the Diploma in Environment and natural Resources Management (DENRM), 38 of the Diploma in International Health (DIH), 9 of the Diploma in Land Valuation and Management (DLVM), 14 of the Diploma in Research and Development Management (DRDM), 9 of the Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN), 18 of the Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management (MENRM), 1 from the Master of Public Health (MPH), 24 from the Master of Public Management (MPM), and 3 from the Master of Social Work (MSW). The top FMDS graduate was France Guillian P. Bandigan (MENRM), a Chancellor's Lister with a GWA of 1.125. Other students recognized were the Dean's Listers, namely, Joy B. Domingo (DENRM), Michael P. de Leon (DIH), Jerome M. Adriano (DENRM), Melissa C. Bulao (DIH), Michelle Marie A. de Leon (DENRM), Arthur J. Lagbas (MENRM), and Julius R. Migriño, Jr. (DIH).
