UPOU 11th Commencement Exercises

 

The University of the Philippines Open University will hold its 11th Commencement Exercises on 9 June 2007, Saturday, 3:00 pm at Cine Adarna, UP Film Institute, UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Dr. Grace Javier Alfonso, the third Chancellor of UPOU, whose investiture will take place on the same day, will serve as commencement speaker.

The UPOU class 2007 consists of 134 graduates: 54 are from the Faculty of Management and Development Studies, 53 from the Faculty of Information and Communication Studies, and 27 from the Faculty of Education.

Leading this year’s graduates are the following students who earned the highest weighted grade average: Ms. Susan Eleanor S. Claro (Diploma in Research and Development Management), Ms. Leslie Ann Jose (Master of Development Communication) and Mr. Gerard G. Ravasco (Master of Development Communication).

Graduates will receive degrees for the following programs: Doctor of Philosophy in Education, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Professional Studies in Development Communication, Master of Public Health, Master of Hospital Administration, Master of Public Management, Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management, Master in Social Work, Diploma in Research and Development Management, Diploma in Environment and Natural Resources Management., Diploma in Language Studies, Diploma in Mathematics Teaching, Diploma in Social Studies Education, Diploma in Science Teaching, Diploma in Computer Science, and Associate in Arts.
