The UP Open University Foundation Inc (UPOUFI) is pleased to invite participants to “Qualitative Research Seminar” .

Topics that will be discussed include:

• Introduction and overview of qualitative research

• Types of qualitative research

• Setting up a qualitative study

• Data collection with emphasis on interviewing

• Beginning data analysis

• Validity and reliability

• Writing for publication

Preregistration is required as slots are limited. Preregistrants will get 20% discount on an online short course on qualitative data collection and construction with Drs. Jean A. Saludadez and Primo G. Garcia of the UP Open University as mentors to be offered by the UPOU FI beginning June 2010.
