FICS Welcomes Young Learners to the Open Studio at Galeria Sinag

On Monday, 31 March 2025, 18 Grade 4 to 6 students from Gateway Integrated Christian Academy, Inc. visited the Open Studio at Galeria Sinag to learn about the work of Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS) Artist-in-Residence, Carlo Dimaano. A Master of Fine Arts (MFA) candidate at UP Diliman, Mr. Dimaano has been in residence at the University of the Philippines Open University since February to work on his thesis. UPOU exhibits Organic-Agriculture-Themed Artworks by Kids at Galeria Sinag

Fourteen artworks bedeck the exhibit panels of Galeria Sinag of UP Open University (UPOU). These are works of the kids aged 5 to 13 years old who participated in the Art Workshop, incorporated in the conduct of the Organic Agri (OA) Farmers' Market this 26-27 May 2017. UPOU Opens Solo Art Exhibit of Jose Glenn Blanco at Galeria Sinag

The UP Open University (UPOU) Cultural Committee proudly hosts the solo art exhibit of Jose Glenn Blanco entitled "Paglalayag sa Kulay ng Buhay" at the Galeria Sinag, UPOU Community Hub, Los Baños, Laguna. The exhibit officially opened on 08 August 2016 with UPOU Chancellor Melinda dela Peña Bandalaria delivering the welcome message and opened the program.
