UP Open University (UPOU) welcomed the SMILE I.T. Lab Section of the Municipality Government of Taytay, Rizal on 21 May 2024 at the UPOU Headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna. The SMILE I.T. Lab Team requested the visit to benchmark on UPOU’s online course offerings and explore how they can collaborate with UPOU to be able to help fulfill their mandate of providing needs-responsive, accessible,and quality education to every sector in Taytay, Rizal. MDE student recognized as Outstanding Innovator at 2020 SDO-Rizal’s Gawad Kampilan

Ann Michelle S. Medina bagged the Outstanding Innovator Award for the Secondary Teacher Category on 17 December 2020 in the School Division of Rizal’s Gawad Kampilan virtual awarding ceremony. A student of the Master of Distance Education (MDE) program, a public secondary school Teacher II, and the ICT Coordinator at the Tagumpay National High School (TNHS) at Rodriguez, Rizal, Medina was among the three recipients of the year’s award in the said category.
