The Department of Interior and Local Government has formally endorsed the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Interlocal Cooperation (ILC). The MOOC on ILC is specifically designed to enhance the Local Government Units (LGUs) capacity to coordinate and work with other LGUs in achieving a common goal. Kanazawa University has cancelled the Kanazawa University (KU) Short-Stay Program (Summer Program) originally scheduled for 22 June to 10 July 2020. In a letter sent to UPOU, the International Student Exchange Division of the KU International Relations Department said that the university decided to cancel the Summer Program to ensure the health and security of the students in light of the global COVID-19 crisis.
