Ms. Miki Yobel I. Tolentino, a second-year student of the Associate in Arts (AA) program, participated in the ASEAN-Korea Youth Summit (AKYS) that was officially held from 10 – 13 August 2021 via online mode. With the theme, “Inclusion and Integration for the ASEAN-Korea Community”, Miki was given the opportunity to interact with the other nine delegates from the Philippines and meet several delegates from other nations, with whom she discussed the topic, “Inequality Reduction across Various Media Platforms: Towards Digital Inclusion” for which they were able to draft an overall recommendation. University of the Philippines Open University Chancellor, Dr. Melinda dela Peña Bandalaria, participated in the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) Network Policy Dialogue 2021 on 29 November  2021 via ZOOM. Three University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU)  students bag several awards in the 7th National Research Conference in Science and Mathematics Education (NRCSME) held by the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI). This event was held virtually on 10-12 November 2021 in collaboration with the National Consortium in Graduate Science and Mathematics Education (NCGSME). The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) will be holding its 25th Commencement Exercises this 11 December 2021 -- the last of the University of the Philippines (UP) System graduation rites for the year. All other seven UP Constituent Units (CUs) have held theirs starting the second quarter of the year.
