The Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) officially welcomed its new students for the First Semester/First Trimester of Academic Year 2025-2026 during the FMDS Student Orientation held on 30 August 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM via Zoom. The Los Banos Horticulture Society, Inc. (LBHSI) paid a courtesy visit to UPOU Chancellor Joane V. Serrano last 5 September 2025 at the OC Conference Room. On 20 August 2025, the University of the Philippines Open University-Faculty of Management and Development Studies (UPOU-FMDS) conducted its Faculty Orientation for First Semester and First Trimester Faculty-in-Charge (FICs) in a hybrid format at the Audiovisual Room, UPOU Headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna, and via Zoom.
