As part of the Organizational and Technological Security Measures for Data Privacy Act Compliance, the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) held an Orientation on the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing Rules and Regulations on 10 April 2019 at the UPOU Centennial Center for Digital Learning (CCDL) Auditorium. The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) held a Capability Building Program on Distance eLearning at Ifugao State University, Nayon, Lamut, Ifugao on 2-3 April 2019 as part of their Cascading Best Practices Program, which aims to help capacitate other higher education institutions (HEIs) in utilizing technology in their mode of instruction. The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), together with the Guidance and Counseling Division of the Office of Student Affairs, UP Los Banos (UPLB), conducted Life Coaching Seminar-Workshops on 11 and 18 March 2019.
