The Gender Focal Point System (GFPS), chaired by UP Open University (UPOU) Chancellor Joane V. Serrano convened for its annual meeting on 23 May 2025. Held at the UPOU Audio-Visual Room (AVR) at its headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna, the event gathered more than 45 participants, including university officials, staff, and gender advocates. Chancellor Serrano warmly welcomed the attendees and delivered a speech highlighting her vision for a transformative university. QAO Launches ‘Metrics and Chill’ Capacity-building Series

The UPOU Quality Assurance Office (QAO) launched its “Metrics and Chill” (M&C) capacity building series on 23 May 2025 at the Audio-Visual Room, UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna. Key personnel responsible for handling data attended the event. M&C is a part of the “iQAO at akOU” program, which aims to streamline and standardize quality assurance processes in the university.
