The Quality Assurance Office (QAO) of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) successfully concluded its two-day strategic planning session held on 22-23 April 2025 at the UPOU Oblation Hall. UPOU-FMDS, SIPAG holds an introductory meeting with community partners in preparation for the launching of OUgnayan Wednesdays

Following an exploratory meeting held on 08 April 2025 between the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) and Samahan ng Industriya ng Paggugulayan (SIPAG) ng Pagsanjan, the involved committee, such as FMDS Sustainable Livelihoods Innovation and Digitally-transformed Enterprise (SLIDE) and SIPAG Pagsanjan representatives, set an introductory meeting with the interested community partners on 30 April 2025 at the UPOU Oblation Hall, UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna. Two graduates of the Doctor of Communication (DComm) program—Dr. Francis Raymond Calbay and Dr. Evelyn Perez—and one graduate of the Master of Development Communication (MDC) program—Mr. Lee Troy Calimlim—presented their graduate research at the 2025 Qualitative Research in Management and Organization (QRM) Conference.
