UP Open University (UPOU) held a Benchmarking Meeting with the University of the East (UE) on 9 March 2023, via Zoom. The UP Open University (UPOU) Family Day was held on 3 March 2023 as part of its 28th Anniversary celebration. The event took place at the Centennial Center for Digital Learning (CCDL) Auditorium, UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna. To further promote mental health wellness and provide stress reduction techniques accessible to the general public, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód University of the Philippines Open University conducted an online workshop on crocheting titled "Stitch Away Your Stress" on 28 February 2023 via Zoom.  The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Mary Meghan P. Perido, an entrepreneur, crochet maker and an alumna from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. A new University Registrar now sits for the “Cyber” campus of the University of the Philippines System, the UP Open University (UPOU). Assistant Professor Luisa A. Gelisan, a faculty member of the UPOU Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS) and former Director of the UPOU Multimedia Center, is ready to take on the challenge.  Asst. The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) collaborated with the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód University of the Philippines Open University in conducting a workshop on Therapeutic Communication on 27 February 2023. The workshop was conducted in a hybrid format. A face-to-face and an online session was simultaneously held at the Centennial Center for Digital Learning Auditorium (CCDL), UPOU Headquarters and online via Zoom.
