UPOU Congratulates the Class of 2024 Academic Achievers

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) celebrates the brilliance of the 611 graduates, of which 46 received Latin honors and 109 graduated with distinctions in the 28th Commencement Exercises held last 7 December 2024. Coming from different backgrounds, locations, and stories, these graduates testify how UPOU fulfills its mandate of providing quality and accessible education for all. UPOU FED and LBSCFI Holds STEAM Education @ UPOU

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Faculty of Education (FED), in collaboration with the Los Baños Science Community Foundation, Incorporated (LBSCFI), kicked off the first day of the STEAM Education @ UPOU event series on 11 December 2024 at the UPOU Headquarters. UPOU Faculty Participate in 3rd UP External QA Reviewers Training

UPOU-FMDS Faculty Members Conduct Specialized Training for BFAR FishCoRe Project

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Faculty of Management and Development Studies delivered two training courses for the Philippine Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency (FishCoRe) Project. FishCoRe is a seven-year initiative that adopts a comprehensive approach to fishery governance, supporting the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Regional Office 4-A in November 2024. FMDS kicks off Anniversary celebration with a Commemorative Tree Planting Activity

The UPOU Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) in commemoration of its 20th anniversary organized a tree-planting activity last 5 December 2024 that underscored the Faculty’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The tree-planting activity is one part of the three-part program for the Faculty’s 20th anniversary celebration. UPOU IREC Team Holds Extensive Training on SOP Revisions After PHREB Level 2 Accreditation
