IN PHOTOS: Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing between UP Open University (UPOU) and the Japan Foundation Manila (JFM) led by UPOU Chancellor, Dr. Joane V. Serrano, UPOU Faculty of Education (FEd) Dean, Dr. Charisse T. Reyes, JFM Director, Mr. Tsutomu "Ben" Suzuki, and JFM Deputy Director, Mr. Yuta Kaneko.UPOU Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA) Program Development Associate for Linkages, Asst. Prof. Remsce A. Pasahol, Center for Open and Digital Teaching and Learning (CODTL) Deputy Director for Open and Digital Learning Research, Dr. Juliet Aleta R. Villanueva, and other staff from UPOU also graced the event. They were joined by other representatives from JFM, namely: JFM Senior Japanese Language Adviser, Ms. Yuko Fujimitsu and Ms. Francesca Murphy Ventura, as well as Asst. Prof. Ria P. Rafael from UP Diliman.The signing of this MOA officially seals the partnership between the two institutions, who shall work on expanding access to quality instruction in Japanese Language Teaching for various types of learners in the Philippines.
