UPOU recognizes exemplary service of its employees on anniversary day.In the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie, UPOU held its Family Day as one of its Anniversary activities for this year. The afternoon of 29 February 2016 was devoted to the recognition of staff members who have served the University for 5, 10, 15 and 20 years, awarding of the winners of the UPOU volleyball tournament, and recognition of non-teaching staff members who were able to finish their degrees. Jimson Sulit, a UPOU multimedia studies student, was chosen to attend Harvard conference on international relations.Jimson Sulit, a UPOU Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies (BAMS) student, was chosen as one of the 200 delegates from all over the world to attend the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Harvard Conference on 12-15 February 2016 at Harvard University, USA. UPOU inks new agreements and recognizes partners.As part of UPOU's 21st Anniversary celebration held on 29 February 2016, UPOU signed agreements with new partners and recognized institutions, agencies, associations and groups that it partnered with in 2015. Dr. Melinda dP. Bandalaria, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Studies, is the fourth Chancellor of UPOU.Dr. Melinda dP.
