On 21 November 2024, the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) Program hosted a Clinical Practicum Orientation. In celebration of National Mental Health Awareness Month in October, the UPOU Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) organized a workshop event entitled “Growing Together: Earth and Mind” held on 15 November 2024 at the UPOU Audiovisual Room. This was participated in by the UPOU Earth Ambassadors partner elementary schools namely Sto. Domingo Elementary School from Bay, Laguna, and The Learning Place from Los Baños, Laguna. The UPOU Office of Public Affairs (OPA) visited the Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) for a benchmarking activity on 12 November 2024 in Nonthaburi, Thailand. In celebration of the UP Day of Remembrance on 21 September 2024, the University of the Philippines Open University will be releasing three new open educational resources (OERs) as part of the FastLearn episodes created by the UPOU Center for Open and Digital Teaching and Learning (CODTL). FASTLearn or Flexible and Accelerated Short Micro-Videos for Teaching and Learning is a program in UPOU Networks that features reels-like videos of learning objects.
