Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU Brings UP Admission Orientation to Region X Schools

The Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU, in collaboration with the UP Open University (UPOU) Office of Public Affairs (OPA) and the Department of Education (DepEd) Region X, conducted a UP Admission Orientation for Grade 11 students in Northern Mindanao. Held from 24-26 April 2024, this initiative aimed to democratize access to quality higher education by extending outreach efforts to under-represented areas. Isaiah Crisanto, the first UPOU University Student Council (USC) Chairperson, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Multimedia Studies degree. With the flexibility of learning at UPOU, Isaiah studied in more than nine time zones in the world, all the while opening him up to many opportunities to work, study, and serve UPOU students.
