Participants of the second Metrics and Chill: Data Entry 101 session from UPOU delivery units

The Quality Assurance Office (QAO) held its second session of Metrics and Chill in line with its program iQAO at aKOU that aims to streamline the quality assurance processes of the university. Held at the Audio-Visual Room, the second session focused on Data Entry at the Performance-Based Monitoring System (PBMS) Portal.

The morning session was headed by Supply and Property Management Office (SPMO) Chief Administrative Officer, Ms. Rhonna Marie Verena, and Program Development Associate for Institutional Linkages, Asst. Prof. Margaret Jarmin- Suarez, two of the former “Big Three” for data collection and management of the university. Their talk-show formatted segment called “Chat and Chime-in” highlighted their experiences and best practices in data collection. They also gave a tutorial on doing data entry for the PBMS Portal.

The afternoon session was facilitated by QAO Director, Asst. Prof. Ria Valerie D. Cabanes. To ensure timely and accurate submission of required outputs, the participants from different delivery units were given time to actively access and successfully encode data into the PBMS Portal.
