The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration (OVCFA) successfully conducted its Annual Review and Planning Workshop on 05 January 2026 at the Centennial Center for Digital Learning (CCDL) Auditorium.
The activity was led by Vice Chancellor Jean A. Saludadez together with Dr. Myra C. Almodiel, Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, Mr. Michael P. Lagaya, Chief Administrative Officer of the Human Resources Development Office (HRDO) and Acting Chief AO of the Cash Office, Ms. Rhonna Marie R. Vereña, Chief Administrative Officer of the Supply and Property Management Office (SPMO), Ms. Victoria T. Canape-Belegal, Chief Administrative Officer of the Campus Development and Maintenance Office (CDMO), Mr. John Benvers A. Malabanan, Chief Accountant of the Accounting Office, Mr. Larry N. Cruz, Assistant to the HRDO Chief AO for Professional Development, Ms. Rosemarie G. Aquino, Assistant to the Cash Office Chief AO for Investment, Ms. Ela Giselle W. Abao, Administrative Officer and attended by the staff from the various offices under the OVCFA.
The workshop provided a platform for each unit to present their accomplishments for calendar year 2025 and outline their plans and strategic directions for 2026 considering the UPOU’s three-year strategic plans. Key achievements highlighted during the review included significant gains in fiscal management, progress in infrastructure development projects, development and enhancements in information systems, and improvements in administrative support services.
The Annual Review and Planning Workshop served as an avenue to assess institutional performance, align goals, and strengthen collaborative efforts among OVCFA units in support of the University’s mission and strategic plan.
