UPOU Welcomes Visitors from the University of Batangas

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) welcomed visitors from the University of Batangas (UB) on 31 May 2022. The UB team consisted of Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Lolita F. Tegon; Director of Accreditations, Recognitions and Awards, Dr. Roel Asi; Dean of the College of Distance Education, Mr. Carl Ivan B. Villanueva; Learner and Faculty Technical Support, Leoj L. Roxas; ILM Development Support, Ms. Daisy A. Ilagan; and Secretary Ann B. Montalbo.

The faculty and representatives of the UB benchmarked how UPOU implements open and distance learning. They were welcomed by UPOU Chancellor, Dr.  Melinda dela Pena Bandalaria  Director of Office of Public Affairs (OPA), Dr. Myra C. Almodiel, and UPOU Program Development Associate   for International Linkages, Ms. Margaret Jarmin-Suarez. The benchmarking presentation was held at the Conference Room of the UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna.
