The UP Open University is now accepting applicants for the UP Presidential Scholarship Grant effective 1st Trimester AY2019-2020. Only one slot is available. Undergraduate students (except freshmen) with a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.75 are eligible to apply for this grant. The UP Open University is implementing RA No. 10931 known as the “Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act of 2017” and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) which was approved and signed on 22 February 2018. The IRR of the law states that beneficiaries of the free college tuition are required to render return service to the University.
