The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary this 2020. A whole year of interesting and exciting activities awaits its constituents, partners and stakeholders.  Themed “Revolutionizing Disruptions for Excellence and Equity,” this celebration will focus on how UPOU’s pedagogy and technology disrupted and revolutionized education in the country and the region. Dr. Maria Dalisay G. Maligalig and Dr. Jomar F. Rabajante, affiliate faculty members of the Faculty of Education (FEd), University of the Philippines Open University were named as the new Program Chairs of Diploma in Science Teaching (DST) and Diploma in Mathematics Teaching (DMT), respectively. DST and DMT were two of FEd’s post-baccalaureate diploma programs. Dr. Maligalig has been appointed as the new Diploma in Science Teaching (DST) Program Chair effective 1 August 2019. Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Director IV for the Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD), Dr. Cherrie Melanie Ancheta-Diego, shall serve as a Plenary Speaker for the 6th National Conference on Open and Distance eLearning (NCODeL 2019).
