The UP Open University (UPOU) Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Committee organized a training on Occupational First Aid & Basic Life Support (BLS)- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Dr. Consuelo Habito, Professor at the UP Open University (UPOU), and former Program Chair of the Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management (MENRM) program, attended the 2023 Association for Asian Studies (AAS) in Asia Conference from 24th to 27th of June 2023 at the Kyungpook National University in Daegu, Korea. The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU),  through the Wellness and Healthy Lifestyle Committee, organized its first-ever onsite flu vaccination event to recognize the importance of being protected from influenza (flu) viruses.
