The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Office of Gender Concerns (OGC) conducted a webinar on Gender-responsive and Feminist Research on 3 June 2021, 2PM to 5PM. Dr. Nathalie Africa-Verceles, Director for the UP Center for Women’s and Gender Studies, was Resource Person of the webinar. Dr. Africa-Verceles discussed the basics of engendering research, considerations in related literature, methodology, and theoretical frameworks. The project “Youth Capacity Building and Exchange Program toward Sustainable Development and Conservation of Ifugao Rice Terraces” or #Y4IRT of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) published 15 books on the Ifugao Rice Terraces (IRT) as a Satoyama landscape. All 15 books were published by the UPOU, funded by Mitsui & Co. Ltd. Environment Fund and the Satoyama Development Mechanism.
