His talk highlighted how AI-powered tools are being integrated into online learning systems to enable personalized learning pathways, provide automated feedback, support intelligent tutoring, and enhance overall learner engagement.

Drawing from current research and real-world applications, his talk also explored the ethical considerations and challenges associated with adopting AI in educational settings. He emphasized the need to safeguard data privacy, uphold human-centered learning, and ensure that AI is used not to replace educators, but to support and enhance their vital roles in the learning process.

His participation at MoodleMoot 2025 underscores UPOU’s commitment to advancing innovative and inclusive technologies in open and distance e-learning. As AI continues to reshape the global education landscape, the FICS remains at the forefront of critical conversations on how digital tools can be responsibly harnessed to build more responsive, equitable, and effective learning environments.
