This Planning Workshop was conducted in collaboration with local government unit heads and the Technical Working Group (TWG) of the municipality, barangay officials, National Government Agencies (NGAs), and Civil Service Organizations (CSOs). Through knowledge-sharing, the team aimed to create a more localized, actionable, and resilience-promoting eLCCAP. The planning process was grounded in community engagement and evidence-based approaches, ensuring that the resulting strategies reflected the needs and aspirations of the local population. Throughout the development of the eLCCAP, different activities were conducted, including data gathering, vulnerability assessment, and stakeholder mapping. The DLUP students also prepare a poster highlighting these critical components of the eLCCAP.

The eLCCAP is strongly aligned with SDG 11 and SDG 13 as it contributes to creating  sustainable cities and communities, and strengthening climate actions in the municipality of Bulalacao.

The ISLA MIMAROPA team was composed of Mr. Norman Dela Cruz, Ms. Cariza Nicole Espiritu, Ms. Fatima Kaye Magbanua, Mr. Gregorio Mariano and Ms. Krista Mae Rapal. They were supervised by their Faculties-In-Charge (FICs), EnP Milben Bragais and EnP Remsce Pasahol.

A digital lantern that shines with hope this Christmas seasonAs we welcome the Christmas season, we look back at the digital lantern created last year by UPOU students Myne Zamora and Rhod Ezekiel DS Vallo. Their work included a short film, an Instagram filter, and the parody itself. Today, we are highlighting just the video, which reveals the lantern at the end.Inspired by stained glass windows, the lantern's vibrant colors and shifting patterns symbolize the resilience of Filipino communities. Their work was recognized at the “Culture Kaleidoscope: Celebrating Cultural Diversity in Lanterns", organized by UPOU and the President’s Committee for Culture and the Arts (PCCA).To see their work in full, you may visit: sites.google.com/up.edu.ph/kungtala/tala #ChristmasSeason2025 #HolidayInspiration #UPOU #DigitalArt ...
