Dr. Zahid Majeed will be one of teh NCODeL 2019 speakers.

Dr. Zahid Majeed, an assistant professor for special education of the Allama Iqbal Open University Pakistan, will be one of the plenary speakers during the 6th National Conference on Open and Distance eLearning (NCODeL 2019), which will be held on 26-28 November 2019 at Holiday Inn, Baguio City, Philippines.

Dr. Majeed received a master’s degree in Special Education and Inclusive Education from the University of Roehampton and his PhD degree in Special Education and Metacognition from the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) in Islamabad, Pakistan. Currently, he is an assistant professor for the Department of Special Education and Director for International Collaboration and Exchange at AIOU. He is also a member of the Pakistan Alliance for Early Childhood (PAFEC). He has collaborated with numerous universities around the world in launching joint programs and activities that benefited both students and faculty alike. In 2017, the AIOU expanded its range to the US and according to Dr. Majeed, there are around 350 registered students at the AIOU through their distance education program from across the world.

The NCODeL 2019, with the theme “Quality in Equity. Equity in Quality”, is a biennial forum that engages both scholars and practitioners in the field of e-learning and distance education to impart their insights and for collaboration of potentially new learning systems utilizing this type of technologies.
