The Quality Assurance Office (QAO) successfully conducted a QAlity Time session on Wednesday, 18 March 2026, at exactly 9:00 AM, bringing together key academic leaders to advance preparations for the upcoming External Quality Review (EQR).

The session opened with Asst. Prof. Ria Valerie D. Cabanes, who led the discussion on files for immediate action, outlining critical next steps to ensure timely compliance with quality assurance requirements. She emphasized the importance of organized documentation and clear coordination among program teams.

The QAlity Time was attended onsite by Program Chairs, including the QAO staff members,  FMDS QA Officer, Asst. Prof. Tricia C. Ascan and FMDS Staff, Ms. Irish Jaece Micosa, Ms. Dina Mae Rejano and Ms. Michaela Dorothy Castro who actively participated in the discussions and planning activities.

QAlity Time is an initiative of the Quality Assurance Office aimed at providing focused and hands-on support to academic programs preparing for external quality review. It addresses common challenges faced by program teams, such as organizing supporting documents, aligning Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) with quality assurance standards, and managing logistical requirements for review visits.

The QAO extends its appreciation to the program chairs of MPM, Asst. Prof. Rose Nonette C. Capadosa, and  DLVM, Asst. Prof. Jephte O. Muñez, for their active participation and dedication to the University’s quality assurance efforts.

By continuously implementing initiatives such as QAlity Time, the QAO reinforces a culture of shared responsibility for quality, ensuring that academic programs are systematically supported.
