Manuel, Jr., DMMMSU President, Dr. Jengjeng M. Bolintao, IFSU Dean of the College of Open Distance Education; and Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, MMSU President. The signing was held on  20 February 2020 at UP Open University Community Hub, UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna.

The   MOU, which serves as a binding commitment of the five universities to be part of the consortia’s Technical Working Group, outlines a number of areas of shared interests and cooperation. Among which are academic collaboration —  program development and offering, cross-enrollment, open educational resources sharing, and research collaborations; capacity building through faculty and student exchange; international collaboration; and international accreditation.
