The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) hosted a benchmark meeting on 4 April 2024, for officials from Guimaras State University (GSU) at the UPOU Headquarters.  The GSU delegation, led by Dr. Ruby D. Catalan, Director of GSU Open University, aimed to learn from UPOU's expertise in online and distance eLearning, including UPOU structures and delivery of its online courses.
