A delegation from the Batangas State University—TNEU Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Mathematics (STEAM) Library visited the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) on 30 July 2024 to learn best practices for managing a thesis/dissertation repository system. Dr. Maribec Campos, Faculty of Management Development Studies Senior Lecturer and SP 290 adviser under the Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management (MENRM) program recently participated in the 21st International Institute of Fisheries Economics and Trade (IIFET) Conference on 15-19 July 2024 in Penang, Malaysia. UP Resilience Institute Conducts Rapid Risk Assessment at UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) is taking proactive steps to enhance its Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) plans. On 13 June 2024, a rapid risk assessment was conducted by the UP Resilience Institute (UPRI) to identify potential hazards across the UPOU Headquarters campus infrastructure in Los Baños, Laguna.
