The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) marked a significant milestone in its digital transformation journey with the ceremonial launch of the Budget, Utilization, and Liquidation System Analytics (BULSA) and the Personnel Unified System Outlook (PUSO) on 28 November 2024. In preparation for the upcoming implementation of the UP System’s new finance and HR systems, selected UP Open University (UPOU) employees undergo a one-day orientation organized by the UPS Roll-out Team for UPOU. This was held on 25 September 2024 at the UPOU Academic Residences Cafeteria, UPOU Headquarters, Los Baños, Laguna.  These new information systems, developed by the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research of UP Diliman will replace the existing University Information System (UIS).
