Dr. Felix Librero or Sir Lex as we fondly call him here at the University of the Philippines Open University ( UPOU) passed away on 16 March 2021.  I was blown away by the news. An online memorial service for Dr. Felix Librero will be held on Friday, 26 March 2021 at 5:00 PM. Let us commemorate the life and immense contribution of Sir Lex to our university.  For those who would like to pay their last respects, Dr. Librero’s urn is available for public viewing from 24-26 March 2021, 8AM to 7PM at the Community Hub, UPOU Headquarters. “At some point in one’s life, death is the only thing that must happen.” This was how Professor Emeritus Felix Librero concluded one of his musings on the subject of death in his blog, Connecting, back in February 2017.
