The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) is pleased to announce the initiation of its inaugural Knowledge Exchange Project in partnership with the International Christian University (ICU) in Japan. On 5-6 February 2025, the UPOU Disaster Risk Reduction-Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (DRR-CCAM) Committee, in partnership with the UP Resilience Institute (UPRI), held a two-day workshop on Public Service Continuity Planning at the Centennial Center for Digital Learning (CCDL) at UPOU Headquarters. Dr. Agapito is the New BAMS Program Chair

The Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS) has named Dr. Benigno Agapito, Jr. as the new Chair of the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies (BAMS) program. He takes over from Dr. Emely Amoloza, who served in the role until December 2024. During her term, Dr. Amoloza introduced the BAMS Colloquium and promoted undergraduate participation in academic conferences and foreign exchange opportunities.
