The UP Mental Health Wellness (MHW) Program of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) is a set of initiatives in order to address the needs of vulnerable students and promote care in the University. The University is strengthening its Mental Health and Wellness Network to respond to the Mental Health concerns and coping needs of UP students. Titled “Media Literacy: Iwasan maging biktima ng fake news,” the episode featured two experts who both lead communication offices in an education and a science institution. Dr. Joane V. The seventh episode of the University of the Philippines Open University’s (UPOU) OPEN Talk featured a discussion on depression and anxiety. This was held on 2 June 2021, 6PM via the UPOU Networks and UPOU Networks Facebook Page.  Dr. Dinah P. Nadera served as the resource person for the episode. The OPEN Talk Episode entitled “Para-Paraan Yan!” was held on 19 May 2021 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM via live streaming. This OPEN Talk episode featured another discussion on teaching reading during remote learning.
