The University of the Philippines (UP) retains its spot in a roster of the top 500 universities of the world. According to the 2021 Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE-WUR), UP remains in the 401-500 bracket, after being assessed alongside 1,527 research-intensive universities. Amidst the threat of COVID-19, 12  University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) students continued to heed the call of volunteerism across the country. Helpdesk to aid UPOU students in time of COVID-19 outbreak The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Office of Student Affairs (OSA) launched an online tool to respond to the concerns of UPOU students amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
