The Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) at the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) is delighted to share the exciting news that Dr. Inocencio E. Buot, Jr., former Dean of FMDS, has been honored by the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) at its 2024 Annual Scientific Conference and 91st General Membership Assembly held on March 12, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City.

NRCP, the country’s largest collegial body and premier agency for basic and fundamental research, granted Dr. Buot the 2023 NRCP Achievement Award for Division V Biological Sciences in recognition of his exceptional contributions to academia and research.

The UPOU-FMDS family extends heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Buot on this well-deserved recognition. His dedication to advancing knowledge and his outstanding achievements are an inspiration to us all.
