The Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) will hold an upcoming hybrid event as part of its Let’s Talk it Over (LTiO) seminar series that will focus on the importance of sleep in a person’s health and wellbeing this coming 31 July 2024, 10 AM to 12NN at UPOU Audio-Visual Room and various UPOU streaming platforms.

The LTiO titled Gusto kong matulog pero di ko magawa: The Importance of Sleep for a Person’s Health and Wellbeing,” in partnership with UP SIESTA, aims to address important sleep health issues by providing participants with evidence-based information on sleep health, identifying common sleep disorders, and offering practical strategies to improve sleep quality. The talk will be delivered by Dr. Beverly P. Carbonell, Sleep Specialist from the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.

The LTiO is a series of hybrid seminars organized by FMDS, integrating our instruction, research, and public service efforts. This initiative is geared towards community, inclusivity, digital transformation, and sustainability. The event also aims to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals: 3 – Good Health and Wellbeing, 4 – Quality Education, and 17 – Partnership for the Goals.
