After the successful webinar entitled “Crash Landing on ECQ: Crisis Leadership and Accountability in the time of COVID 19,” the Master of Management Program (MPM), Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) and the Association of Schools of Public Administration in the Philippines (ASPAP) Inc. now bring you a three-part Online Webinar Series.

First part of the series will be on June 10, 2020, 10:00am to 11:30am and will be livestreamed on https://networks.upou.edu.ph/. Join us as we discuss about “Open and Distance e-Learning in Philippine Public Administration and Governance Education: Prospects and Challenges.”

Speakers from University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) will share their experiences about Open and Distance e-Learning (ODeL), a practice most HEIs are currently exploring due to the COVID19 pandemic. These two institutions are working templates on ODeL and ASPAP Member Schools and other Higher Educational Institutions will greatly learn from them.

INPHOTOS: UPOU Strengthens Administrative Leadership through OrientationThe UP Open University (UPOU), headed by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration (OVCFA) conducted an Orientation for new administrators on 30 April 2025 at the World Class Multimedia Production Building. The event covered the roles and responsibilities of various departments under OVCFA. The heads of the respective departments provided comprehensive overviews of their units’ roles and responsibilities, which contribute to a deeper understanding of effective administrative leadership within the university.
