CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: HALINA’T MAKIBAHAGI 🤗

Bahaginan is a well-being event where people are given space and time to have conversations about various topics. The event gives opportunities for people to have conversations outside day-to-day routine and get to know new people.

In Bahaginan, individuals with topics of special interest to them (e.g. pets, photography, hobbies, specific life experiences, etc.), volunteer to have enjoyable life-giving conversations and to share their knowledge and passion with guests who share a similar interest in their topics.

The conversations last for 30 minutes to an hour. The volunteers will be trained to engage with guests in respectful and meaningful conversations along with their topics of interest. They will also be trained to spot guests with psychosocial problems and to open channels for support that their guests can consider.

🚀LOOK: CODTL Leads Comprehensive Training on ODeL Curriculum and Management for PSAThe UPOU Center for Open and Digital Teaching and Learning, capped a month-long facilitation of the Blended Training on Open and Distance e-Learning (ODeL) Curriculum, Technical Infrastructure Management, and Program Administration for the Philippine Statistics Authority. The training which began with a focus on the Community-based monitoring system (CBMS), later drew in staff from various PSA sub-units, each bringing their own expertise, reflecting how the agency is working together to strengthen its digital learning capacity and knowledge sharing across its diverse functions.
