Excellence in social work education and practice recognized on the national stageUPOU–FMDS Dean and Social Work Program Chair, Dr. Finaflor F. Taylan, received dual honors from the National Association for Social Work Education, Inc. (NASWEI) during its 27–28 November 2025 gathering in Iloilo City. Awarded both a Plaque of Recognition and a Certificate of Commendation for her distinguished nomination to the NASWEI Outstanding Social Worker Award, Dr. Taylan was recognized for her sustained leadership, ethical practice, and impactful contributions to advocacy, community empowerment, and social work education.
