OPA Senior Media Production Assistant

The UPOU Office of Public Affairs is looking for one (1) Senior Media Production Assistant (COS).

SG 11 + 20% Premium

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and collaborating with clients to discuss project briefs, requirements, and progress updates.
  • Generating creative ideas and translating them into designs using tools like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Flash Player, 3D Flash Animator, Apple Final Cut Pro X, and Avid audio production software.
  • Receiving and incorporating feedback on design concepts to refine and enhance the final output
  • Conducting thorough testing of multimedia content to rectify any errors or issues before its public release.
  • Collaborating closely with other creative professionals such as writers, animators, and video producers to ensure seamless integration of various elements.
  • Develop scripts and guides to accompany multimedia content, providing clear instructions and context for its consumption.
  • Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
  • Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
  • Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
  • Executing design solutions and collateral for information, promotion, and publicity of UPOU and its products and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous work experience as a video editor
  • Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Premier, Illustrator, Canva, Etc.
  • Creative and artistic skills
  • Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects
  • Portfolio of completed video productions
  • Ability to work in a tight schedule
  • Ability to translate ideas into complete projects

The IFSS 2025 formally concluded with a meaningful closing ceremony.UPOU Assoc. Prof. Finaflor F. Taylan, DProfSt, Chair of the IFSS 2025 Program Committee, delivered a synthesis of the forum, emphasizing the values aligned with the discussion areas of the IFSS2025. She ended with a call to continually act together for justice, for regeneration, for a future where everyone has just not food, but dignity, health, and the opportunity thrive.An exchange of institutional gifts was held among the representatives from UPOU, DOST, TUPV, STI West Negros University, and Negros Power.Certificates of participation were awarded to all participants of IFSS 2025.The Best Paper Award was conferred by Dr. Gerome Salas, member of the IFSS 2025 Paper Committee to the following winners:- Arwen Jover, Joval Martinez, Aran Jay Nonato, Raezel Harvey Pitong, and Angel Hope Robles with their paper entitled “Functional Characterization of Potassium Solubilization Potential of Hot Spring-Derived Thermophilic Bacteria for Sustainable Agricultural Biofertilizer Development."
