
The Faculty of Education wishes to inform our students that DilGames now permits UPOU students to participate in all their physical sports and esports events! Important details are as follows:
- Applications are due by April 22, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
- DilGames runs from April 29 to June 18, 2024.
- Applications are for individuals only. (If you intend to participate as part of a team, please register individually. We may arrange an internal discussion with you afterwards.)
- Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled at UPOU for Second Semester/Trimester of AY 2023-2024.
- Guest players who completed their degree program during the 1st trimester/semester of the same academic year are eligible.
- MODeL and CEP students are not eligible to participate in the games.

UPOU–FMDS Dean and Social Work Program Chair, Dr. Finaflor F. Taylan, received dual honors from the National Association for Social Work Education, Inc. (NASWEI) during its 27–28 November 2025 gathering in Iloilo City. Awarded both a Plaque of Recognition and a Certificate of Commendation for her distinguished nomination to the NASWEI Outstanding Social Worker Award, Dr. Taylan was recognized for her sustained leadership, ethical practice, and impactful contributions to advocacy, community empowerment, and social work education.
