The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Ugnayan ng Pahinungod conducted a series of writing workshops for Grades 10-12 students on 25 and 27 August 2021 via Zoom. The Ugnayan ng Pahinungod University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) conducted a training on dialogic reading for parents titled “Sama-sama sa Pagbasa: Paggamit ng Dialogic Reading Method sa Pagbabasa Kasama ang Pamilya” on 16 July to 13 August 2021. The project aimed to train parents on the application of the dialogic reading method as a technique in teaching reading to children.  Dialogic reading is a reading technique developed by Grover J. Although physical travel across states and physical activities involving international delegations have been restricted by the pandemic, people and institutions worldwide have developed a greater capacity to utilize communications technology to overcome this obstacle. With the theme of “Strengthening the ASEAN Education Delivery Systems in Challenging Times”, the 2021 ASEAN Youth Volunteer Programme (AYVP) officially began last August 30 using Zoom, social media apps, and online platforms provided by the University of the Philippines (UP).
