The UP Open University (UPOU) Office of Public Affairs is looking for one (1) Research Assistant.
Qualifications:
– At least a Bachelor’s degree graduate
– Good research and communication skills (Oral and Written) in English
– Has skills in script writing, video editing, and graphic design
– Keen to details, analytical, can work with minimum supervision, and proficient in time management
– Has knowledge of Office and Google applications
– Willing to work at the UPOU headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna

Community of Nations, Nation of Communities Short Course Scholarship Program
The UPOU Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) is organizing the “Community of Nations, Nation of Communities” short course for the second time and will feature experts from the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand who will discuss various topics on select dates from April until July!
The goal of this program is to provide a platform for members of local government units or local communities to learn about playing a role in regional affairs, leading to the formation of an active network of local government units or local communities that transcend national borders. In doing so, local government units or local communities could more actively complement national efforts to contribute to East Asian and Eurasian regional development and peace.
